The Online Master of Science in Business Education program at the UW-Whitewater College of Education and Professional Studies prepares individuals seeking to advance their teaching or for career changers interested in teaching business education at the K-12 level.
Program Description
This 30-credit, three-semester graduate study program offers a high-quality, practitioner-oriented approach that is committed to developing highly-qualified and effective teachers.
Individualized plans are developed for each candidate based on previous degrees and professional work experience.
All of our programs have proven themselves through rigorous state and national accreditation. When you choose programs in the College of Education and Professional Studies you can be assured of the quality and reputation of your degree. Students completing this program are required to apply for Wisconsin Teaching License 1250 (Business Education). The College of Education and Professional Studies prepares students for careers in a wide variety of areas including: counseling, teaching, health and fitness, physical education and coaching, speech and language, recreation, and military science and leadership.
Career Opportunities
K-12 Business Education Teachers teach accounting, marketing, finance, and general business skills in a variety of courses and settings.
Admissions
To ensure a high quality graduate student group, all MS in Business Education students must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution and meet graduate admission criteria.
If you do not meet the graduate admission criteria, please email us to determine if you could be admitted on a conditional basis.
