Expand your school district career options or assist with your knowledge of your district’s finances by adding on the Wisconsin DPI 5008 license as a school business official.  The online School Business Management graduate certificate is designed to allow working professionals with a master’s or other advanced degree to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills of a practicing school business manager.  The coursework will cover areas of school finance and accounting, budgeting, management, auxiliary services, and negotiations.  Those applicants who already possess advanced degrees in educational administration may be eligible to transfer in up to 9 credits toward the 24 credits required.  A 3-credit internship is required covering a portfolio of competencies that can be completed at a current or other school district.
